Catch-all Emails
Discover just what a catch-all e-mail account is, how it operates and how to create one.
A catch-all functionality that is enabled for a particular e-mailbox will allow you to receive emails that are sent to email addresses that do not actually exist. In other words, if you remove an email address and someone still sends an email message to it, or to any mistyped email address under the exact same domain, you will get the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality implies that you will no longer miss an email for any reason, which could be vital if you are running some company, for example. Since you may start receiving junk email messages, you can use the catch-all feature with anti-spam filtering software so as to get only legitimate emails in your inbox. Just one single mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Hosting
You will be able to configure a catch-all mailbox without any effort in case you have a
hosting account with us. The Email Manager in our in-house created Hepsia hosting Control Panel is feature-laden, yet really easy to use, and it will permit you to activate different features, including the catch-all one, with no more than a couple of clicks of the mouse. All the email addresses that you’ve set up will be listed in alphabetical order in this section and on the right-hand side of each one of them you’ll see a mini "Catch-all" logo. Clicking on it once will enable the feature, clicking it once more will deactivate it. Since you can have just one such mailbox per domain name, our system will inform you if you already have another one with this option enabled or if you have activated email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting
The catch-all functionality can be enabled without effort in case you have a
semi-dedicated server plan with our company. All the email addresses that you’ve set up with the domains hosted in the semi-dedicated account will be displayed in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel and you’ll notice a small symbol handily located right next to each one of them. With only a single click, you can enable or disable the catch-all option for any mailbox of your choosing as long as there isn't another mailbox under the same domain with the option already activated and there isn't activated email forwarding. Alternatively, you can right-click on a mailbox and activate this feature through the menu that will surface. In case any of the conditions for configuring a catch-all mailbox is not satisfied, our system will inform you, but will not deactivate or replace anything automatically.
